ADVANCED INTERACTIVE EXPEDITION FILM MAKING & TECHNOLOGIES: 2007:-  The following is a detailed walkthrough of a highly advanced 360 project inspired by the success of Runningman. In a sense, it is the consolidation of many years thinking. Scrolling down will reveal the massive details that go into this project.

Working with big thinker and industry icon  Mr Wayne Young (Producer of Crocodile  Dundee)  I embarked on a madcap, passion-driven journey to raise £10.000.000 for a truly ambitious highly interactive, global adventure.

Nokia was first to jump in with a sizeable development fund.

The following is a basic intro into some of the deeper thinking followed by a few video intros and platform illustrations and presentations; 

Core Objectives/ Key Drive of Project:

If you watch the 2nd video (slide show style) you’ll get a glimpse of some of the 3D immerse arenas I envisioned and a sneak peek at the array of expedition tech designed to support and communicate the expeditions below is a mock-up of a highly advanced 3D arena I created for a sponsored aspect of the project…

VR mission control:  2005-7 Pretty advanced for the time…

The site for the project (see below) was built thanks to Nokia’s support…  it’s a powerful storytelling interface entitled ‘STORYWAVE‘ Its a slickly rendered platform that can host innumerable adventures/expeditions/stories one with hi-tech mission control for all to explore one designed from the ground up to ‘engage inform & empower’ viewers as journeys unfold. I’ve used the positive outcome of my first Runningman expedition as an example of the potential of the system.
